Ib Antoni's illustration of the Danish furniture designer, Hans J. Wegner, and his world-famous chair was made in 1964 when The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark announced a poster competition in the occasion of The Danish Weeks in Stockholm.
Wegner & The Chair was frequently used as a representative of Danish furniture design, for example on the World Exhibition in New York, USA in 1964-1965 and - as shown here - for the World Exhibition in Montreal, Canada in 1967.
The posters are made in Denmark and are printed on Swedish quality paper (200 grams), from sustainable forestry. The paper has the same nuance as the original prints by Ib Antoni and we print in lightfast colors. In the reproduction of the original prints that contain pantone gold, we have once again printed an extra layer of pantone gold, giving the posters a beautiful and charming shimmer.
