Ib Antoni's illustration of the Danish furniture designer, Hans J. Wegner, and his world-famous chair was made in 1964 when The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark announced a poster competition in the occasion of The Danish Weeks in Stockholm.
Wegner & The Chair was frequently used as a representative of Danish furniture design, for example on the World Exhibition in New York, USA in 1964-1965 and - as shown here - for the World Exhibition in Montreal, Canada in 1967.
